Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs

Compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) are highly efficient. They use 75% less energy and last 7 to 10 times longer than standard incandescent bulbs. Because CFLs contain tiny amounts of mercury (about five milligrams per bulb), proper disposal is important.
Ace Hardware, 2563 Kipling St, has partnered with Xcel Energy to provide a program through Mercury Technologies for fully recycling and recovering all that makes up a CFL at no cost to you.
