Responsibilities

 The Public Works Department is responsible for:

  •  Maintaining and improving the City’s infrastructure, which includes 133 miles of streets and 36 miles of storm sewers throughout the City.
  •  Managing and maintaining the City’s fleet vehicles and equipment.
  •  Administering and monitoring all construction activities within the streets rights of way.
