Annual Floodplain Meeting
The Annual Floodplain Meeting is held every year on the last Wednesday in March from 5–7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 7500 W 29th Avenue. Short presentations will be made at 5:15 pm and 6:15 p.m., with a Q & A session after each presentation. The City’s award-winning Top of the Hour video will also be shown at the meeting. Staff will be available at the Annual Meeting to answer questions and to check the floodplain status of properties within Wheat Ridge. In addition, information will be shared concerning the status of the remapping projects for both the Clear Creek and Lena Gulch floodplains. Notices of the meeting will be mailed to all property owners/tenants who are in a mapped floodplain
