Potential Candidates
The following elected positions will be up for election on November 7, 2023:
- Council Member - District I
- Council Member - District II
- Council Member - District III
- Council Member - District IV
- City Clerk - At Large
- City Treasurer - At Large
(All terms are for four years)
Candidate Qualifications:
Each registered elector age 18 years or older on the date of the election may be a candidate and hold elective office in the city if he/she has resided in the City and district from which he/she is to be elected for a period of at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
Nomination Petitions may be circulated and signed starting on August 8, 2023 (Tuesday) and must be turned in to the City Clerk's Office no later than August 28, 2023 by 5 p.m. C.R.S. 31-10-102 (2)(a) For a candidate in a city, at least twenty-five registered electors residing within the city;
