Sec 16-03 (d.) (3.) (II) “No outdoor amplified sound event permit may be issued for an event outside of the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Within this time range, outdoor amplified sound events may be limited in duration as determined by the approving authority.”
Any person, business, organization or neighborhood group desiring to operate sound amplification equipment consistent with Ordinance 1713 must file this application at least ten (10) days in advance of the date on which sound amplification equipment is proposed to be operated.
If issued, this permit applies to one event. If you will have more than one event scheduled, each event requires a separate application and permit. Any individual/business/organization may apply for up to eight Outdoor Amplified Sound Event Permit (OASEP) for any one location in a calendar year. Permits will not be issued for the same location more than eight times in a calendar year.
