1. Who do I call to report a street light that has burned out or is not working?

Xcel Energy maintains the City Street Lights. To report a street light outage please call Xcel Energy direct. 

The number to report an outage direct to Xcel Energy is (800) 895-4999. At the menu, select option one (to report an electrical outage). On the next menu, select option two (to report a street light outage).  Xcel Energy Website

2. I just moved to Wheat Ridge. Who do I talk to about having the water & sewer transferred to my name?

The City owns the streets where the water & sewer lines are located, however the City does not own/operate the water and sewer systems. The utilities are owned by Special Districts and companies. See the Water and Sanitation district maps to locate which district your address is in. There is also Utility Contact Information on the site.
