Wonders of Wheat Ridge = How Do I Get Informed, Involved, and Engaged?
Residents are the heart of Wheat Ridge and we want to hear from YOU! By participating, you can have a say in important decisions that affect those who live, work and recreate here. Check out the many ways you can get involved:
Participate Online
Wheat Ridge Speaks is an online platform where you can provide public comment in advance of City Council and Planning Commission meetings. Agendas are posted prior to meetings.
What's Up Wheat Ridge is a place where you can gather information, contribute your ideas and feedback and get involved on a variety of topics.
Get Involved
Wheat Ridge 101 is a free seven-week interactive course taking place on Wednesday evenings each Fall. This program is designed to share detailed information about how the City of Wheat Ridge works, and to discuss strategies for community input and engagement.
Sustainable Wheat Ridge /1587/sustainable-wheat-ridge is a volunteer-led committee guiding the city in efforts to improve community conditions in six areas of environmental sustainability – green building and energy efficiency; renewable energy; solid waste and recycling; transportation; water; and communications and engagement.
Boards and Commissions consists of Wheat Ridge residents who work on important projects and have a voice in City decisions. All interested residents are encouraged to apply at any time and applications will be kept on file for one year.

You can participate in local elections by voting or running for office.
