The City of Wheat Ridge introduces a revolutionary Projects and Properties Map, offering residents and businesses a centralized hub for updates on city and private developments.
Senior Planner Ella Stueve said, "this tool is a great way to help people understand what's going on with properties across the city."
The map comprises three essential components:
Private Development Map: Tracks mid- to large-sized private projects seeking approvals or under construction, aiding residents in staying informed about local developments.
City Projects Map: Highlights major city-led initiatives, providing a comprehensive overview of infrastructure, parks improvements, and land use planning efforts.
Interactive Property Information Map: Offers crucial details, including zoning, floodplains, and city council district boundaries, promoting a deeper understanding of Wheat Ridge's geographical landscape.
"In Wheat Ridge, we value transparency and ensuring that the community has access to and understands their government," said Stueve.
Residents are invited to explore the map and share their feedback. Training resources are available for efficient navigation.
