The answer to both questions is yes! The City of Wheat Ridge requires all dogs and cats to be properly vaccinated for rabies. Valid rabies vaccination tags should be worn by all residing dogs and cats. The tags provide owner information and proof of vaccination compliance should the animal be found within the city.
